DAY 1 - 08:00 - We will depart from your accommodation (own account) to Pietermaritsburg in the Kwa-Zulu Natal province. The drive will be about 10 hours. During the drive we will have a stop for lunch (own account) and quick stops. This evening we will be sleeping in the town of Pietermaritsburg. Dinner (own account).
DAY 2 - 08:00 - After a wonderful breakfast we will go to the Voortrekker Museum where you can get a good overview of the history of the province. We will have lunch (own account) in Pietermaritsburg where after we will depart for Durban. Arriving in Durban late afternoon we will go to our accommodation where you can have leisure time. Dinner (own account). (B&B)
DAY 3 - 09:00 - After breakfast we will go on a tour of Durban. Driving to the harbour first you will see one of the biggest harbours in South Africa. Then we will drive to the Francis Farewell Square. The rest of the afternoon will be spent at the Ushaka-Marine world. Lunch (own account). Picking you up at about 16:00 we will go back to our accommodation. Dinner (own account). (B&B)
DAY 4 - 08:00 - Departing after a delicious breakfast we drive to Eshowe. This drive is about 3 hours to Zululand the cultural village we will be visiting. At the village you will have lunch where after you will go on a guided tour seeing Zulu Dancing, basket weaving, beer making and drinking Zulu beer with the Chief and his wives. Tonight you will be sleeping in a traditional beehive hut at the village. (B,L,D)
DAY 5 - 10:00 - After a wonderful breakfast and cultural programme in the village we will be driving to Dundee. On the way there we will have some quick stops and a stop for lunch (own account). Arriving in Dundee late afternoon the rest of the day will be for leisure time. Dinner (own account). (B)
DAY 6 - 08:00 - After a wonderful breakfast we will depart for the Blood-river Ncome Museum. Here you will be able to see the exact site where the battle of blood river took place. You will have the opportunity to go to the Zulu exhibition on the site and experience the Zulu culture. After the visit to the museum we will depart back to Pretoria. On our way back we will stop for lunch (own account). Arriving late afternoon I will take you to your accommodation (own account). (B)
