08h00 - Picking you up from your accommodation we will be driving to the park. The Pilanesberg National Park, the fourth largest National Park in Southern Africa covers an area of 58 000 hectares. This area was formed by a volcanic action some 1.2 billion years ago. This is one of the parks that have all of the big 5 (Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Elephant and Buffalo). Some of the other animals that could be seen include brown hyena, cheetah, sable as well as giraffe, springbok, zebra, hippo and crocodile. This is also one of the bird watchers paradises with over 360 species recorded.
13h00 - We will have lunch (own account) in the park, where after we will go on an afternoon drive through the rest of the park.
17h30 - Departing from the park we will drive back to Pretoria arriving at about 20h00. I will take you back to your accommodation.
