Day 1: 8:00 - Departing from your accommodation in Pretoria we will drive through the Northwest Province to Kimberley. We will stop for lunch (own account) in Klerksdorp. After lunch we will drive to Kimberley arriving late afternoon we will book into our accommodation. The rest of the afternoon will be spent at leisure time. Dinner own account.
Day 2: After breakfast (own account) the day will be spent in Kimberley seeing places like the Big Hole and having a tramp ride from the Big Hole to the City Hall and back again. After visiting the Big Hole we will enjoy lunch (own account) in Kimberley. After lunch the afternoon will be spent visiting the McGregor Museum, Dunluce and Rudd House, Duggan Cronin Gallery and the Pioneers of Aviation Museum where after we will go back to our accommodation. Dinner own account.
Day 3: Finishing breakfast (own account) we will depart for Oudtshoorn. We will stop for lunch (own account) in one of the towns on our way. Arriving later the afternoon we will book into our accommodation where after you will go on an afternoon game drive. Dinner tonight will be enjoyed at our accommodation. (D)
Day 4: Breakfast will be enjoyed at our accommodation where after we will depart for the Cango Caves and the Ostrich Farm with the lodge we are staying at. Lunch will be provided by the lodge. After a day out we will go back to our accommodation where we will have dinner. (B, L, D)
Day 5: Today we will enjoy a morning bush safari, breakfast and feeding of Elephants before we will depart for Victoria Bay. We will have lunch (own account) in Oudtshoorn before going on to Victoria Bay. Arriving in Victoria Bay we will book into our accommodation where after you will then have a choice between going to the beach and seeing the ocean, swimming in a tidal swimming pool or just relaxing at our accommodation. Dinner own account. (B)
Day 6: After breakfast at our accommodation we will depart to the Outeniqua Transport Museum from where we will depart on a train ride on the Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe to Mosselbay. Arriving in Mosselbay at about 12:00 you will have the opportunity to visit the Dias Museum Complex. After the visit to the Museum we will depart at 14:00 back to George again with the Choo-Tjoe. Arriving in George at about 16:35 you will have the opportunity to do shopping at the Transport Museum shops. We will have dinner (own account) before going back to our accommodation. (B)
NB! - Make sure to take along your own snacks for lunch as there will not be time to have lunch in Mosselbay before departing back to George.
Day 7: Finishing breakfast at our accommodation we will depart for Knysna. Arriving in Knysna we will go on a ferry ride with the Featherbed Company. During the ride you will see the famous Knysna Heads (grand sandstone cliffs) and go to the Featherbed Private Nature Reserve. At the Reserve you will go on a game drive and also enjoy lunch here. After lunch we will return with the ferry to the pick up point where we will then go to Birds of Africa which is creations of birds by local creators from wood. Here you will see them create the wonderful art works and will also have the opportunity to buy some of them as souvenirs. We will then drive to Plettenbergbay where we will then book into our accommodation. Dinner own account. (B, L)
Day 8: After breakfast at our accommodation the day will be spent visiting places like Monkey land which is a unique primate sanctuary where you will have a guided tour through the sanctuary. Lunch (own account) will be enjoyed at Monkey land. After lunch we will depart for the Nyati - Traditional Mampoer and Witblits Distillery. Here you will have the opportunity to see how these beverages are made and also to taste some of them. You will also have the opportunity to buy some of these beverages. After our visit to the distillery we will depart back to our accommodation. Dinner own account. (B)
Day 9: Finishing breakfast at our accommodation we will greet the Western Cape goodbye and depart for the Gariep Dam. On our way we will stop for lunch (own account) at one of the towns on our way. Arriving at the Gariep Dam we will book into our accommodation. Dinner own account. (B)
Day 10: After breakfast at the Gariep Dam we will depart for Pretoria. On our way we will drive through the capital of the Freestate Province - Bloemfontein. On our way we will stop for lunch (own account) at one of the towns. Arriving late afternoon in Pretoria we will take you to your accommodation. (B)

For an 11 day tour there is the option of doing a tour at the Gariep Dam and surrounding area which will make the tour one day longer. The tour at Gariep will include a tour of the dam wall and a sunset cruise on the dam.
